Can I have multiple versions of Conversagent on the same site?

You can customise Conversagent for each Shopify template it’s part of, but not for individual pages that share the same template, and you must be on a Shopify 2.0 theme to do so.

For example, you could set up Conversagent as a floating popup on your Home page, and as an embedded chatbot on your Product pages. To do this, simply add the “Conversagent – Floating” block to your Home page template, and the “Conversagent – Embed” block to your Product page template.

You can also customise different instances of Conversagent across your store, even if they use the same type (floating or embedded). For instance, your Home page template could use a floating chatbot with a blue primary color, while your Contact page template has a floating chatbot with an orange primary color.

To customise a specific instance, just click the Conversagent block in your Shopify template editor. This will open the settings where you can adjust that instance’s appearance and behaviour. For example:
